This event was handicapped using Pete Riegel's, of the Athletics Congress, system. National age       
records for men and women were plotted and a curve resulted. This resulted in a staggered start.      
                              
Doug Butler of Cocoa finished first after starting with a 9:59 handicap. Bob Hogan , 55 years old,       
winner of the previous two Handicapping runs finished well up in third place. No times are      
given as the handicapped time would have to be deducted from the finish time to give the
