Croom Trail 50K

The Croom Trail 50K consists of 4 loops through pine and live oak
forests on trails of soft dirt and pine needles over gently
rolling hills.  Aid every 2.5 miles with water, Gatorade, Mt. Dew,
candy, and salty snacks.  We had average weather, 80's, humid,
and partly cloudy.  Post-race goodies included barbeque chicken
and beans.  Race director was John Holmes.

Included are last year's times and places (M/F) for comparison when
the weather was a bit cooler.  Last year's winners were James Rasch,
43, 3:28:47, and Carol Greenwood, 36, 4:02:18, of 66 starters, 43 male
and 17 female finishers.
